At A Glance:

The Bose Sub2 is a Powered Bass Module designed to be used as part of a portable PA system. This compact sub can be used upright or on its side and has been optimised for use with L1 Pro and S1 Pro systems. Sub2 features an innovative Racetrack driver which makes it easier to transport and is host to many technological advancements like SubMatch audio transfer, automatic crossover calibration and Cardoid mode.

This larger sibling to the Sub1 is twice as powerful, but still maintains its portable nature, if you’re running a full mix and require a full low end, the Sub2 is the speaker for you.

Portable Sound

While most sub speakers are heavy and bulky, the Sub2 is relatively lightweight and portable considering its power. Sub2 can also be used with a Bose speaker pole to support a PA speaker like the Bose S1 Pro.

SubMatch

While using the propriety SubMatch cable with a Bose L1 Pro, the Sub2 can receive power and audio through a single cable and allows for the internal crossover and EQ to automatically calibrate. This ensures the most efficient use of audio is distributed to each speaker for the best possible sound. For PAs where extra bass is required, multiple Sub2’s can be stacked to give you a rich punchy sound.

RaceTrack Driver

The key feature behind the Sub2’s enhanced portability is its custom RaceTrack driver. Its stretched shape allows for Sub2’s slender frame without compromising sound quality.

Cardioid Mode

Another great feature of the Sub2 is the cardioid mode, this directs the sound forward and away from the stage. This is ideal for boxy stages and outdoor events where low-frequency build-up can cause major feedback issues.

Highlights:

  • Twice as powerful as the Sub1
  • High quality sound in a compact speaker
  • Easy to transport
  • Connects to L1 Pro systems via a single cable
